It is 31st January and this is my second post this year. What a shame! I feel guilty for not trying to motivate myself to do some posting.<br />
<br />
Hope that 2016 will be more creative as my New Year's resolution is to enjoy life more.<br />
<br />
Happy New Year!</div>

<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
About six months ago while visiting Serbia, I came across lovely journalling tutorials on YouTube. I was amazed. I just wanted to try it.</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Since then I have been collecting material and courage. </div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally, today, I did a page.</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>WARNING: I AM NOT AN ARTIST</b></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My first page is about my home town Nis, in Serbia. Simply a sketch of the Nis Fortress in pencil and pens lead to cutting out the image and gluing it on the page with the clear shine glue medium.</div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW0zRM9m-UK0VJe6YIlYy5eEkjUDzIg8r3WCwDx7jf6kMNDHE-3hSYluO3K2KGFm7RcC-ZZ_Kw5rrVCCQa732N0v_tCJ7wxVr1ByHKhyLjmw8usY33otinf79oGpzdp_KKLppwGEJ82xc/s1600/005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW0zRM9m-UK0VJe6YIlYy5eEkjUDzIg8r3WCwDx7jf6kMNDHE-3hSYluO3K2KGFm7RcC-ZZ_Kw5rrVCCQa732N0v_tCJ7wxVr1ByHKhyLjmw8usY33otinf79oGpzdp_KKLppwGEJ82xc/s1600/005.JPG" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next step that should have been the first actually was to cover the page with white gesso.<br />
Once the page dried I played with gel sticks from Faber Castell (mostly white and black) and Black Soot Distress ink from Tim Holtz. I also edged the page with a tin black marker and smudged some silver metallic paste against the edges.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM2dARSUcXJFkgbETvGwASovuFhvl9CVeSC229vDR_W9CwrAd61_QyJaTT7RTH-hEBRZuLuvbgvfOxvT6ZEdWaLqSf3RxVMSMcseuv6JlABKRlV7qXFTbs_BzRHhwdbjhrrVqw8tOAIsw/s1600/004a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM2dARSUcXJFkgbETvGwASovuFhvl9CVeSC229vDR_W9CwrAd61_QyJaTT7RTH-hEBRZuLuvbgvfOxvT6ZEdWaLqSf3RxVMSMcseuv6JlABKRlV7qXFTbs_BzRHhwdbjhrrVqw8tOAIsw/s1600/004a.jpg" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In the end, using black and white markers, I wrote those 4 magic words and sprinkled some white acrylic paint over the page.</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The final result is the picture which has that winter sky grey feeling. </div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The feeling of achievement is lovely especially, after I have touched the page. It feels like touching a canvas. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And on the final thought, I do hope that 2015 will bring lots of new and lovely things. </div>

Weather it is due to laziness or lack of mojo, but I haven't written and posted on my blog for good 4 months. Shame on me!!! None of the previously mentioned is not a good excuse not to be active.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
During that time I made some very lovely cards which I will post later, but to start with is to start with the best I have made in long long time, and it is the card for Steve.</div>
<div>
I was asked to make a card for him, but honestly, they should not have asked me as I was to make one anyway. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR2UlcSvX_9thCJcdFSBdmi39iGJv7sNnHY1AkglRT2iEgykpywaxiYhmGsz8hoF3RakpfvdFeYeW6gQDGTCO7tZXFDWW6mLwm4Rx5Uz8wGzh96DLBgspiBIrQ_AMUlkQ0Tn4e6geQhzE/s1600/steve+1a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR2UlcSvX_9thCJcdFSBdmi39iGJv7sNnHY1AkglRT2iEgykpywaxiYhmGsz8hoF3RakpfvdFeYeW6gQDGTCO7tZXFDWW6mLwm4Rx5Uz8wGzh96DLBgspiBIrQ_AMUlkQ0Tn4e6geQhzE/s1600/steve+1a.jpg" height="264" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
Steve is a gentleman who was very closely working with us, with the whole team and he was one of those particular parts of the chain that team couldn't work without. </div>
<div>
So, Steve did deserve the card for himself to be special, but not pathetic like:'Oh, I am so sorry you are leaving'. It was card that reflected Steve the person, a gentleman who likes to work.</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I used Debbi Moore products for this card and I am very happy that it came so beautiful. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>

While wandering through Cambridge yesterday, I popped into WH Smith and to my surprise, I saw a beautiful stamp set as a free gift from'Simply Cards and Papercraft' magazine.</div>

IndigoBlue is the company responsible for the stamp set. So gorgeous that it did not take me a second to buy it.</div>

The first one was a Bebunni card just as a teaser and a reminder of the day and the second one was from Bamboo Panda range. Both of the card were made with tools and materials from CRAFTER'S COMPANION products.</div>

The very begining of this year started with hearing about babies, babies to come, babies that have already arrived, ideas of maybe having babies...</div>

So, where's smoke, there is fire, i.e. where there are babies, there are baby cards. As a consequence to all that fuss about them , I decide to make at least one as I am not very experienced in making baby cards. </div>

I thought that my mojo would be back, but I was not right. It was still hiding stubbornly somewhere. The only solution was to try something different and messier and hope of success</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
January 2014 was spent in a wish to craft. Most of the time I was fighting with my lack of motivation, my lost mojo, and lots other things irrelevant to this blog.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There were very big breaks between my little projects. In this posting you'll see just few that I have made</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After I had made this birthday card for my brother in December 2013, I completely stopped.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIivuPdwce-P728-kltbzOBgm3JpTMlFW2sF5V68zm51MmcVlFNG01LRGB4SOClk5-u0ipx8o8E6Iup-tQSJAMpG1-ue1meF1MimGkT9zXXIPmJkhlyuX4aOSE4HYhJb7d0Puzi2xe5nU/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIivuPdwce-P728-kltbzOBgm3JpTMlFW2sF5V68zm51MmcVlFNG01LRGB4SOClk5-u0ipx8o8E6Iup-tQSJAMpG1-ue1meF1MimGkT9zXXIPmJkhlyuX4aOSE4HYhJb7d0Puzi2xe5nU/s1600/004.JPG" height="200" width="135" /></a></div>
I did enjoy making it and it was easy.<br />
<br />
The ingredients used for this card:<br />
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Time flies - Debbi Moore CD</li>
<li>Neenah card - Crafter's Companion</li>
<li>All sorts of Collall glues.</li>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYDqJv83hhW7dycRnwSubXSc7Fy5pISYbw5xEq72R9Pb_VdoDvSfkRbeNXmq7zzfx3_Z3UvB9Tx8-ylWbDGLDYfaWIYlpITEvGT3nOL4TAKmhs2gwf01c7M736mEr6afUOEyM_h702HUQ/s1600/027.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYDqJv83hhW7dycRnwSubXSc7Fy5pISYbw5xEq72R9Pb_VdoDvSfkRbeNXmq7zzfx3_Z3UvB9Tx8-ylWbDGLDYfaWIYlpITEvGT3nOL4TAKmhs2gwf01c7M736mEr6afUOEyM_h702HUQ/s1600/027.JPG" height="193" width="200" /></a></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And then, the inspiration struck again, after some time and I made the following two:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used here frlower stamps from Lili of the Valley, message stamps from DO Crafts, Neenah card and an embossing folder from Crafter's Companion; and few embelishments.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Both of the project were completely coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and mounted on some kraft card blanks </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8ciWY_-m7fRS3DoGvn1PsUGeAl_u1-kj_PMmkwYC_Z7gJV8j4assjmrK48bfA29t0cGVXAA798lMv5t6LtZSL4xQrBm00BgkAih2fbXUtlt6QnX1iD3xsz105gPn0IGlIiGKLabOo8tE/s1600/029.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8ciWY_-m7fRS3DoGvn1PsUGeAl_u1-kj_PMmkwYC_Z7gJV8j4assjmrK48bfA29t0cGVXAA798lMv5t6LtZSL4xQrBm00BgkAih2fbXUtlt6QnX1iD3xsz105gPn0IGlIiGKLabOo8tE/s1600/029.JPG" height="198" width="200" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Having finished them quite easily, I really thought my MOJO was BACK, but it wasn't.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It took me days to sit and do another one ages. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The new card was made in its entirety from a free gift papers from a magazine bought many many moons before.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just cut them and mat and layered them on withe and card. AS a finishing touch, I sprayed the whole card with the iridescent glue from Crafter's Companion.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Christmas Divas - Debbi Moore is one of my most favourite CD ever. I just love the overall art on it and the way it was one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The card was easy to make after having printed a backing paper and the image from the CD itself. It took me 15 minutes to make this lovely X-mas card.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I love this card as it is done in in more or less three colour variations : black, red and grey. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To make it I used LOTV stamp that I stamped on a super smooth card with my alcohol pens. I even coloured the background paper which I embossed and mounted all on black Core'dinations. To spice up I added the sentiment from one of Makey Backey's Chrostmas stam sets. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Not bad at all ;-)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<br />
I love the new embossing boards from Crafter's Companion. They are what they are name says SWEET TREATS.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
On one of them I say a triangular shape which made me think :-) and while I was thinking, an idea just came and developed into this small and lovely Christmas decoration :-)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgymmPR59gZmlcx0QVjBmZZQpQQifmJymtaD5p8_iqt1dcdYuLUJoLywQnjFu4DZo8Q-pCU0AzUu35HeAO2md73q0aSvhfbDnxWe_H_WZv9SBT0YR05sjIZzW94KAiym1Wu3y1Nx-Pup9o/s1600/089.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgymmPR59gZmlcx0QVjBmZZQpQQifmJymtaD5p8_iqt1dcdYuLUJoLywQnjFu4DZo8Q-pCU0AzUu35HeAO2md73q0aSvhfbDnxWe_H_WZv9SBT0YR05sjIZzW94KAiym1Wu3y1Nx-Pup9o/s200/089.JPG" width="135" /></a></div>
This little project can be used in many different ways. You can hang in on your Christmas tree, use it as a little gift box or just simply intend it for a coffee table. ..<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
I am late with Christmas cards this year. Lots of different things distracted me from my favourite hobby: if I wasn’t moving house, cleaning and working, then it was just that I was just too tired to make myself make something and then recording it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
So, this is the chance to show everything that I have made in last few days.The basic material is all the same and mostly from Crafter’s Companion with the few exceptions : Debbi Moore, Tattered Lace, Lili of the Valley and DO crafts basic card blanks. All small embellishments come from different little sources.</div>

<br />
Sometimes it is difficult to run away from the usual images for men in our lives: fishing, football, snoring on a couch, and of that sort when we are trying to make cards for them.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLqfQpONwu4TU6MQJtSISfZx6im-D4D6FC6UCBOdJJV4pKB9-hX6_XMOdI99cw0OcqOLv98MIhQe8KbMTTiea9Q6U2fiOYCuTwbzth1SjHCVhzCfy-olpSZfJu6xkrn3yC7FpYmy-ip8g/s1600/20130609_5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="196" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLqfQpONwu4TU6MQJtSISfZx6im-D4D6FC6UCBOdJJV4pKB9-hX6_XMOdI99cw0OcqOLv98MIhQe8KbMTTiea9Q6U2fiOYCuTwbzth1SjHCVhzCfy-olpSZfJu6xkrn3yC7FpYmy-ip8g/s200/20130609_5.JPG" width="200" /></a><br />
<br />
<br />
Debbi Moore' s Shabby Chic Mechanical CD came as a perfect rescue to me as I made a 3D birthday card for my husband's birthday.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLLf04ptoGGLOfeqXhuw6LxHecM-k7-ZRm-OyWjYmWKoJaeHbZMaz033gUBhlRz9uJQxaqpT9f7EYwcKqFzMPNbM49acI7Vt3XPYtuTkJy55ta07vVKhTDDHRuNhyphenhyphen9LtIXLPUZZ4ToDZo/s1600/20130609_9.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLLf04ptoGGLOfeqXhuw6LxHecM-k7-ZRm-OyWjYmWKoJaeHbZMaz033gUBhlRz9uJQxaqpT9f7EYwcKqFzMPNbM49acI7Vt3XPYtuTkJy55ta07vVKhTDDHRuNhyphenhyphen9LtIXLPUZZ4ToDZo/s200/20130609_9.JPG" width="116" /></a><br />
<br />
It was just click and print and assemble into a beautiful card. My husband was overjoyed this morning when he found it on his PC.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
The materials and tools that I used for this project are the following:<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Shabby Chic Mechanical CD - Debbi Moore</li>
<li>Neenah Solar White Card - Crafter's Companion</li>
<li>Collall glue</li>
<li>Construction Acetate - Crafter's Companion</li>

<div style="text-align: center;">
It's been some time that I have been longing to have <b><i>The Country Diary
of an Edwardian Lady</i></b> paper crafting CDs form Joanna Sheen as they would
complement perfectly her <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">Favourite Flowers</i></b> stamp collections.Knowing that Joanna is not doing the CD collection any more, my disappointment grew as I was aware that I had missed the opportunity.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And then, to my massive surprise, Crafter’s Companion announced <b><i>The
Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady</i></b> paper crafting CDs.<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
They are so rich in content that you can play and use them either as ready
made kits or resource to play with unlocking your creativity.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The result can be seen in this card where I used the CDs as resource only. I
created the card with using only backing papers only.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
It is 1am, one hour after midnight, time to craft. One of the most perfect and convenient media for this is a paper crafting CD and what better than the latest release from Crafter's Companion Angel Whispers by Christine Hawarth.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is one of these examples where you have everything in one: gorgeous image, backing paper, few embellishments and your imagination to keep you going. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Materials used:</div>
<ul style="text-align: center;">
<li>Angels Whispers by Christine Hawarth from Crafter's Companion</li>
<li>Neenah super smooth card from Crafter's Companion</li>
<li>White paper flowers colored with Spectrum Noir pens</li>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I do not usually make baby cards and this little one is an exception
just because I love this Bamboo baby Panda image. It is cute, isn't it? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The tools and materials that I have used are:</div>
<ul style="text-align: center;">
<li>Baby Bamboo stamp</li>
<li>Centura pearl card </li>
<li>Spectrum Noir pens </li>
<li>Bamboo Panda card </li>
<li>Ultimate Pro</li>
<li>Collall glue of all sorts </li>
<li>Embellisments</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And all from the Crafter's Companion kitchen.</div>
