Groovy Granny

Groovy granny is my favorite among the new designs because she has a diva moment.
SWALK 2 expands in its versatility.Not only is their beauty that attracts, but their ability to be adapted as well.

SWALK1 and 2 Collections

I was on my holiday when I saw these beautiful stamps advertised for the last day of the Crafter's Companion birthday week. It did not take me a second to decide. I have the first collection that I love and wanted to have the complete set. So, I bought the second as well.

As a result there are few new cards.

Cuddles

This decoupaged Popcorn the Bear card was made for my husband long time ago. It took me some time to cut out the elements, but the overall result was fantastic. It is also needless to say that my hubby was overjoyed with his card.
'Ingredients' used:
  • Romance CD (Popcorn the Bear from Crafters Companion);
  • White card stock;
  • White vellum with printed hearts.
  • Lots of love and patience to cut out the elements;

X-mas 2010

Finally, having found the lost cable for my camera, I managed to upload this lovely Angel. I was so eager to do so, because it has been some time that I am in love with Lili of the Valley stamps. They are gorgeous and I couldn't resist buying some of them.
This one is my favourite. What I did here is the following:
  • stamped the image, coloured it with Promarkers and then cut it out and mounted onto the sticky pads.
  • covered a blank square card with Papermania's Silent Night paper and ribbon whose edges had been glittered.
  • put a tag from the same collection and embelished all with four red gems.
  • put the Angel onto the card and sprayed everything with Crafters Companion spray and Sparkle Iridescent glitter varnish.

For all the grandmas in the world

This is one of the most favourite designs I have ever used in my card making...It just makes you feel fantastic...regardless of the fact if you are or not a grandmother or if you are young or old. It is timeless.
The card was 'commissioned' by my father who wanted to make a joke at my mum.

A card for my dad

Cards for men in our lives are always difficult to make. The last one is for my dad: a simple concertina layered with some designer papers, stamped images from Desing Objectives - my favourite ones and coloured with Promarkers.
All in all simple but nice.

My new weak spot

It has been days and weeks that I have been enjoying my cardmaking hobby by just playing with my new S.W.A.L.K stamps. All of them are fantastic quality and design that can be used for any occasion. The only problem for me will be what to do with my cards since I do not sell them. I believe that I shall send them to my friends and my family.
