Hobby Art Vintage Stamps

Hobby Art Vintage stamps have caught my imagination recently.

With good quality and versatility, these stamps with a little imagination can make you go far.

These are the results that I have achieved with them and they are very very beautiful.

The card for Steve

Weather it is due to laziness or  lack of mojo, but I haven't written and posted on my blog  for good 4 months.  Shame on me!!! None of the previously mentioned is not a good excuse not to be active.

During that time I made some very lovely cards which I will post later, but  to start with is to start with the best I have made in long long time, and it is the card for Steve.
I was asked to make a card for him, but  honestly, they should not have asked me as I was to make one anyway.

Steve is a gentleman who was very closely working with us, with the whole team and he was one of those particular parts of the chain that team couldn't work without.
So, Steve did deserve the card for himself to be special, but not pathetic like:'Oh, I am so sorry you are leaving'. It was card that reflected Steve the person, a gentleman who likes to work.

I used Debbi Moore products for this card and I am very happy that it came so beautiful.

I know I have not been posting regularly, but it's just that there is either no inspiration -mojo gone, or being lazy, or just not feeling like it.

The following cards are just a hint of what can you do with the whole range whether it is the CDs, papers, embossing folders or stamps.

All the card images presented here are stamped with acrylic stamps from Angelica and Adam range coloured with Spectrum Noir alcohol pens and mounted on original papers from the range itself.

The cards are made with Crafter's Companion products apart from message stamps and few embellishments.

Valentine's Is Again.

Some people are lucky to receive more than one card for St Valentine's, and one of those is my other half who received two.

The first one was a Bebunni card just as a teaser and a reminder of the day and the second one  was from Bamboo Panda range. Both of the card were made with tools and materials from CRAFTER'S COMPANION products.

Babies

The very begining of this year started with hearing about babies, babies to come, babies that have already arrived,  ideas of maybe having babies...
So, where's smoke, there is fire, i.e. where there are babies, there are baby cards. As a consequence to all that fuss about them , I decide to make at least one as I am not very experienced in making baby cards.

The card presented is from a Bebunni collection :

The tools and materials used:

  • Crafter's Companion Bebunni Baby Unmounted Rubber Stamp - Bundle of Joy
  • Spectrum Noir pens
  • Kraft card blanks from DO crafts
  • Some embelishments and scraps of paper
Overall, the result is not bad.

Let's try something different

I thought that my mojo would be back, but I was not right. It was still hiding stubbornly somewhere.  The only solution was to try something different and messier and hope of success
It was a right time to try something sunnier and more positive and different from my Christmas cards which does not mean that I don't love making

Lost Mojo

January 2014 was spent in a wish to craft. Most of the time I was fighting with my lack of motivation, my lost mojo, and lots other things irrelevant to this blog.

There were very big breaks between my little projects. In this posting you'll see just few that I have made

After I had made this birthday card for my brother in December 2013, I completely stopped.

I did enjoy making it and it was easy.

The ingredients used for this card:

  • Time flies - Debbi Moore CD
  • Neenah card - Crafter's Companion
  • All sorts of Collall glues.

And then, the inspiration struck again, after some time and I made the following two:

I used here frlower stamps from Lili of the Valley, message stamps from DO Crafts, Neenah card  and an embossing folder from Crafter's Companion; and few embelishments.

Both of the project were completely coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and mounted on some kraft card blanks
Having finished them quite easily, I really thought my MOJO was BACK, but it wasn't.

It took me days to sit and do another one ages.

The new card was made in its entirety from a free gift papers from a magazine bought many many moons before.

I just cut them and mat and layered them on withe and card. AS a finishing touch, I sprayed the whole card with the iridescent glue from Crafter's Companion.
