While watching the Olympics, I just wanted to make something that would be GB  by marrying beautiful Blossom stamp from MOREHEADS  by Crafter's Companion - coloured in with splendid SPECTRUM NOIRs again from Crafter's Companion and PORTABELLO RD paper from DO crafts.

Christmas in Mulberry Wood...

A rare is the occasion when the whole range of  products can touch my imagination as Christmas in Mulberry Wood CD and stamps did, and that's what happened.

These little ones conquered  my heart after my all time favourites SWALK, HUMPHREY and POPCORN.

I would praise CD's decoupage section which is second to none.

After having printed the images, it took minutes to cut them out and layer them with the silicone glue.  and assemble them  into cards.

I also used the sentiment stamps from the accompanying stamp sets.

But not only is the decoupage to  admire, there are also fantastic stamps that can be used with or without the CD. You can colour them with your favourite pens and they will  look magnificent.

For the above cards, I have used the following products:
  • Neenah Card - Crafter's Companion
  • Christmas in Mulberry Wood CD and Stamps - Crafter's Companion

  • Mistletoe die from Marianne Design Creatables
  • Spectrum Noir Alcohol Pens - Crafter's Companion
  • Epiphany
  • Various card stock and a punch

It has taken me no time to stamp and colour the lovely images with my Spectrum Noir pens, and to embelish them.

Materials and Tools used:
  • Scarecrow from Hobby Art Ltd
  • Spectrum Noir from Crafter's Companion
  • Cuttlebug
  • Various embelishments.
  • Momento ink pad

A Country Girl....

This lovely girl comes from the kitchen of Crafter's Companion's SWALK range 'Sweet Stuff'.
' A Little Bird'  is  my favourite one as the Daydream Beleiver is. I used my Spectrum Noirs alchocol pens on Neenah card which made it  easy and fast to finish in a card.

While waiting for SWALK....

Another miserable, windy and cold day. It looks like spring is not allowed to come into our lives and bring some colour and sunshine.
But. luckily for us crafters, there is always a way to make our lives brighter and happier.  The other day I heard the news of new SWALK coming and since I am getting impatient for that launch I decided to play today with this little fellow from Crafter's Companion:

This little Humphrey from A Year With Humphrey - Party Time stamp set was coloured in with fabulous Spectrum Noir pens on Neenah card and all together coming from Crafter's Companion Kitchen.
                                                              Happy Crafting. xx

Mini Gift Boxes

These little boxes are very easy to make and they are the unsuccessful result of my trying to understand a project that I saw long time ago on Crafter's Companion FB I'm a Crafter Companion Group.

You must be asking why unsuccessful. Simply because, I made a mistake in measuring for the prototype  box and then, I had to adapt  the whole project to something similar.

On, the other hand I do not want to say it is mine, because it is not.
So, thank you very much ladies from the group for sharing the project that helped me make mine.

The materials and tools used:
  • Darice emobssing folders
  • Core'ditnations - Black Magic
  • Ultimate Pro - Crafter's Companion

  •  Core'dinations Accessories - sanding block and dust buddy
  • Collal glue from Crafter's Companion

  • Haberdashery stamp set from Stamping for you -Debbi Moore
  • Buttons embossing folder from Design Objectives
  • And, lots of love.

Haberdashery with Debbi Moore Designs Stamping Magzine

Not only is the Shabby Chic collection of Debbi Moore Designs CDs one of my favourites, but also the Stamping magazine that follows is. It is needless to say how much I enjoy the free gifts that come with it.

The second edition is dedicated to a lovely new CD – HABERDASHERY that has appeared recently. It is all about lace and ribbons, threads and needles, buttons and thimbles.

As a result of reading the magazine and using the free gifts, I made these two similar, but different cards.

Mother’s Day Sunday

I love Sundays. They remind me of my parental home and my growing up. After all, they remind me of my Mother.  It would always be that lovely smell that would spread from the kitchen to wake us up on Sunday mornings. My brother and I would know that our Mother was there for us.
And, she is still.

Athough I live far away now, I can still ‘smell her presence’ on Sunday mornings.

Materials used for this card are:

  • The Tale of Two Bad Mice – Beatrix Potter – stamps from Crafter’s Companion
  • The Paintbox Poppets CD from Crafter’s Companion
  • DO Crafts Digital Designer template
  • Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter’s Companion
  • Tim Holtz distress ink
  • Some white cardstock
  • Neenah card from Crafter’s Companion

Sweet Memories

Jane Shasky double CD from Joanna Sheen is one of my favourites. I always wondered why there were no any stamps. And, to my surprise, I found out that there were three stamp plates: Slice of Heaven, Sweet Memories and Relax & Enjoy.

This beautiful water can is from Sweet Memories. I simply stamped and water coloured the image. Then, I cut I out and layered with the rest of the elements.

Tools and elements used:
  • White card,
  • Tri-boss universal embossing folder – patchwork from DO crafts,
  • A white card die cut doily,
  • Tim Holtz ink stamp – aged mahogany, and
  • Spray and Shine from Crafter’s Companion.

Boofle

It‘s been a while now that I receive regularly Boofle cards from my OH.  I adore this little knitted doggy and no wonder that I went crazy when I saw that he would be a new baby in the family of DO crafts.

The card presented was created with the free stamp- Boofle from Creativity magazine.

Boofle was stamped and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. Then once cut out, it was mounted on a white square card which was layered with different elements:
  • Brown square card whose edges were distressed,
  • Distressed square card which was embossed with the Tri-boss universal embossing folder – mixed buttons  from DO crafts,
  • Grunge postcard stamp from Additions distressed with Tim Holtz vintage photo ink stamp
  • And, stamp elements from rhe free stamp present from Stamping for You magazine from Debbi Moore.

Hello everyone,

I was surprised and honoured when I found a message from dear and talented Lousie about this lovely award that I was given  the other day.

The idea of the LIEBSTER BLOG AWARD is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread the knowledge and readership.

To accept the award, you must:
  1. Link back to the person who gave it and to thank them for thinking of you.
  2. Post the award to your blog.
  3. Give the award to 5 bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value.
  4. Leave a comment on the blogs of the five people you have chosen to let them know. ‘Liebster’ in German means ‘dearest, so to carry on the Liebster tradition, I am going to pass this award on to 5 people whose blogs have  been an inspiration to me.
These talented ladies are:

Svjetlana
Debbie
